It's been a crazy 8 months and the Kay family has had a lot going on!! I have posted a whole bunch of pictures of all the fun things that we have been doing! July we celebrated the 4th by having BBQ going to the rodeo playing in the water, visiting Grandpa Mills grave and shooting off some fireworks!!
We celebrated Hailey's 10th Birthday she is growing up way to fast!!
We did a lot of camping this last year by our self's and with the Mills family!The kids loved going to upper log and playing in the creek with their cousins!! They caught fish and lizards and had a blast!
Brayden turned Five and we had a big birthday party at the park with his cousins and friends!!
October started out with Gracie having some surgery done she had tubes put in her ears and her adenoids taken out with a few other procedures done!! She is like a new kid today and we were glad that everything went well and she continues to grow and do better everyday!! We made a trip to the Pumpkin patch with my mom & dad and sister Shawna and her kids!! Brian was hunting for 10 days up by the Arizona Utah border so we were glad that all joined in on the fun!! And No Deer for Brian but he sure had a great time hunting with his dad and Brothers he was even able to bring Tanner up for a few days!! Then A week after Brian got home from hunting Brian and I were able to get away for a few days thanks to both of our parents for watching our kids!!! We flew to New York and the next day got on a cruise headed to the Bahamas!! It was so nice to get away and we had a blast!! When the cruise was over we were able to spend a few day in NY City it was so much fun and we saw tons of cool things !! It was defiantly a much needed break after no husband for 10 days!!
Gracie celebrated her second birthday!! She loved every minute of it!! She loved her cake and all the beads and high heels she got!! She is at such a fun age and loves life she is total girl loves shoes, cloths and jewelry and loves loves loves to dance to any kind of music! We sure love having her in our family!!
Christmas was spent with the Mills family this year! We had our Christmas eve dinner and program with everyone the kids always look forward to dressing up and playing the story of Jesus birth!! After the program we went home and the kids got to open there pajamas!! Kids woke up at 5AM to see what Santa brought them!! In a way it kinda worked out because we were able to open our presents and get ready for my moms 9 am church with a huge Christmas breakfast that followed at the Mills house!! All the grand kids got to open there presents from Grandpa and Grandma and loved all getting a pair of roller skates they had fun riding those for the next few days!
This was our New Years Eve party at Grandpa and Grandmas house!! Seem like they are always having a good time!! They had all the grand kids (except Cardston that had the flu) over to have Chinese food and to do a tradition the we had as kids on New Year Eve witch is to pull a big piece of plastic from one side of there family room to the other and fill it with balloons and confetti and count down and drop it!! I remember doing this as a child and loved it!! It was fun to watch my kids having fun doing it! We had fun eating junk food and dancing!! We decided to celebrate the new year with New York!!( 10PM our time) It was so much fun and we look forward to it next year!!
January 17th we had a bday party for my little bro it was lots of fun and I think one of the best parts was the biscuits and gravy for dinner and topping it off with Strawberry short cake!! Thanks for having a Birthday Scott it was Fun!!!
I was looking back and have no pictures with Brian's family I promise I will do better this next year at getting a few with them!! Its's just so easy with my family because they are all used to me taking a million pictures!! We did have lots of fun time with the Kay's at the Lake, going to the movies, visiting with cousins riding the ranger having a niece and nephew go on missions both to Ohio!!Visiting our Grandpa and Grandma McGee in the Valley!! My kids having a ball helping grandpa and grandma Kay at Halloween, Spending the night and celebrating Xmas at Thanksgiving!!! We have been so blessed these last few months with lots of good memories and good time with our families!! Now you can see why we have just been way to busy to post!!!
